BOOKING CONDITIONS

The terms and conditions detailed below outline the agreement between ‘CR HAYES & JJ HAYES’ trading as ‘Hillview Farm’ and our guests. By booking with us, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms. We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions at any stage prior to the confirmation of your booking.

 

Bookings

A booking is confirmed when:

• You have made a booking online and submitted all the required information

• You have paid the booking rate in full

• We have sent you a booking confirmation.

We reserve the right to decline any bookings at our discretion without explanation. If a booking is declined, any payments made will be refunded promptly.

Pricing

All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST.

Bookings made via third party websites may incur additional fees.

Payments made by debit or credit card will incur a surcharge to cover processing costs.

A $150 credit card authorisation will be held prior to arrival and released within 3 business days after check out. Any damages or additional charges will be deducted from this security deposit.

 

Guests

Each of our cabins accommodates a maximum of two adults. Hillview Farm is an adults only accommodation and cannot cater for children under 18 years. Small infants may be considered on a case-by-case basis by request via email, and strictly only allowable once permission is granted in writing. No additional services or bedding are available to cater for infants.

Non-paying visitors to the property are not permitted without express written permission from Hillview Farm.

 

Minimum Night Stay

A minimum two-night stay is required for all bookings.

 

CANCELLATIONS & AMENDMENTS

Any cancellations and amendments must be communicated directly with Hillview Farm via email at Hillview.farm@outlook.com. For bookings made through travel agents, cancellations and amendments must be made via the travel agent.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations requested a minimum of 30 days prior to check in are eligible for a full refund of the booking rate.

Cancellations requested between 14 and 30 days prior to check in are eligible for a 75% refund of the booking rate.

Cancellations requested within 14 days of check in are eligible for a 50% refund of the booking rate.

Bookings made more than 14 days prior to check in, and cancellation requested within 24 hours of booking, are eligible for a full refund of the booking rate.

Guests who do not arrive and have not requested a cancellation or amendment to their booking will be deemed a no-show and are not eligible for any refund.

Strictly no refunds apply to ‘non-refundable’ booking rates.

Refunds will be processed within five business days and may take up to ten business days to be cleared into guest’s bank accounts. Refunds will be processed to the same debit or credit card used for booking, or to a nominated bank account, unless otherwise notified.

 

Amendment Policy

Amendment requests are subject to availability.

Amendment requests must be made at least 14 days prior to original check in date.

Amended travel dates must fall within 12 months of original check in date.

Strictly no amendments can be made to ‘non-refundable’ booking rates.

If there are price differences between the original booking and amended booking rates, guests are required to pay the difference in full to confirm the changes.

Force Majeure

If the property becomes unavailable to provide accommodation services due to unforeseen circumstances such as bushfire, state of emergency, government restrictions etc, guests will be notified promptly and will be eligible for a full refund of the booking rate. In these circumstances, Hillview Farm will have no liability to the guest.

 

YOUR STAY

Check in and Check Out

Check in is from 2.00pm AEST.

Check Out is by 10.00am AEST.

Late check out is subject to availability, please contact Hillview Farm directly and obtain written permission prior to your stay. Additional charges may apply for late check out.

 

Smoking

All accommodation and amenities are smoke free, including e-cigarettes. Additional cleaning charges will apply if the no-smoking policy is not adhered to by guests.

 

Dietary Requirements

We cannot cater for any special dietary needs.

 

Children & Pets

Pets are not permitted due to biosecurity reasons. If pets are found on the premises, guests will be vacated, fined $200 for breach of policy, and liable for any cleaning, damage or associated costs (including damage to livestock).

Children under 18 years are not permitted and if guests arrive with children without written permission from Hillview Farm they will be deemed a no-show, vacated and ineligible for any refund.

 

Property Disclaimer

Hillview Farm is a working Beef and Sheep property, and as both a natural environment and working property it poses boundless risks to persons and property. While considerable efforts are made to ensure guest safety, guests acknowledge that Hillview Farm and its staff will not be liable for any injury or death, or for any loss or damage to property.

Telstra mobile reception is available, however can be unreliable.

Guest Safety & First Aid

A fire alarm, fire blanket and basic first aid kit is provided in each accommodation.

In the event of an emergency, please call 000.

House Rules

Please respect the privacy of other guests and property owners at all times.

Guests have access to the area directly surrounding their accommodation only. Please stay within the immediate vicinity of your accommodation at all times. Guests are not permitted to explore the farm.

Please do not approach any livestock or wildlife.

Please adhere to quiet hours by avoiding noise disturbances between 10.00pm and 8.00am AEST.

Please wash up all cooking utensils, dining ware etc after use, and use rubbish bins provided. Additional cleaning fees will apply where excessive cleaning is required.

Please return all books, games, and other items provided to their appropriate place prior to departure.

If guests are found to not be adhering to the house rules detailed above, or to directions given by Hillview Farm staff, they may be vacated immediately and no refunds provided.
